Very busy in Patong at this time chinese new year, booked in the morning and upon arrival no reservation available. My reservation was given to someone else. Was given a room of very low quality and promised a room of the standard booked within a few days and was delivered after two days.
As the point of a hotel is a place to sleep, then this failed. Acoustics in the hotel were awful every door slammed shook the place, kids screamed and the worst of it was a tiny bar called 'indie' played music until 2 am and it was very very loud, yet the place was empty this happened both nights, the front desk left at 11 pm and drew down a half shutter, mice on the stairs were frequent but i couldn't get picture. Air Conditioning unit had a stupidly bright light on it, but we used the air con unit to try and drown out the noise. We used this to grab 2 nights before flying out of Krabi - mistake.
It is easy to move around the Ao Nang area and also to Krabi City. Very convenient staying there.
