Sai Kaew Beach Resort located in the best of both worlds-idyllically situated on two adjoining beachfronts on the north-east coast of Koh Samet (Samet Island), renowned for its pristine sandy beaches. The deluxe rooms face the smaller, quieter beach while the superior accommodations are on the livelier main beachfront. Only 2 1/2 hours by road from Bangkok to Rayong, or one hour from the lively resort town of Pattaya, followed by a short sea crossing in our shuttle boat.

Great place with a large variety of rooms. Some are quite old, but huge renovation going on all over the place, so expect to see a few workers here and there. Overall very pleasant experience, would stay again.
Upon arrival, we were informed that we had been upgraded to their superior room. The room was certainly superior. It was one of closest rooms to the beach they offered. The room was excellent , the service was excellent and the food was superior. The free breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was rated 3 stars but we received 5 star service and the accommodations were 5 star as well.
A hotel with wonderful choices, bungalows in beautiful quiet gardens, more modern room around pool and upper end rooms facing main beach. Affordable options for everyone.
