Beautiful resort.
Our pool villa at Muthi Maya has a beautiful setting overlooking the forest. The pool villa itself was nice, and we spent over half of our time on the terrace and in the pool. Didn't even use the dining room table, the huge bathtub, or the two large televisions! The room itself was grand, but the bed was hard and the hot water was unreliable. The complimentary golf carts were quick and efficient-- wonderful service there. We had lunch and breakfast at Mist, which left something to be desired. Ingredients did not seem fresh, and preparation was oily and too simplistic for a hotel of this level. At breakfast, there were not many tables occupied (maybe 4 or 5 in the entire restaurant), but the staff seemed to have a difficult time managing everyone. We waited a very, very long time for our eggs and were never offered coffee, juice, or water refills. If the management works to improve this, we think it could be a fabulous hotel.
Exceptionally relaxing retreat. Fabulous food and great service.
