Pung-Waan Resort & Spa Kwai Yai is a beautiful resort hotel located on the bank of the River Kwai, and is only 2 km. from the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai. Due to its peaceful & relaxing atmosphere, visitors can simply enjoy their vacation days strolling along the riverbank, experiencing the high-standard Thai massage & aromatherapy, as well as cruising at sunset in our private boat.
Lobby at Pung-Waan Resort & Spa Kwai Yai Kanchanaburi ( Muang District ) will be close to renovation from 22 August to 23 September 2010 for all service still do the same as before.

Great hotel all around. In a bit of an off location but so are most resorts and hotels in the area.
Friendly Staff, big rooms. Stayed "Riverside deluxe spa". Nice view, but there was nothing "deluxe" or "spa" in that room. Room was renovated and clean. The rack rate is 4006 THB, 50% to much... Very quiet during the week. Big, but not well looked after swimmingpool. 5min from downtown, if you have your own car. Maybe stay there again.
