Vana Varin is the only resort in Hua Hin in the middle of a large forested area, full of trees, flowers, and especially well-know for its Dipterocarpus, a beautiful and rare plant type found only near the sea. Vana Varin has an abundant water supply all year around because it lies next to a major river and is surrounded by big trees - a rarity among Hua-Hin resorts.
Vana Varin facilities include a beautiful swimming pool and commodious deck area; this is adjacent the forest and next to a waterfall for ultimate relaxation. The resort also have a playground for children to enjoy whilst their parents relax and soak up the sun.

Even though Vana Varin resort is not located next the sea, you can drive to the beach of Ta-Kiab Hill, in approximately 15 minutes. Or if you would like a relaxing round of Golf, there are a wide range of very popular beautiful courses, located very close to the resort.There are also many routes through and around the resort area (approximately 100 Rai) for mountain biking, or you may just walk through the forest.

This is a beautiful resort. The rooms are big, spotlessly clean with good quality, comfortable furnishings. The gardens in the resort are lovely - again, extremely clean with lots of lovely plants. The big lilly pond outside the rooms and restaurant is particularly nice. The resort has a lovely,shady pool and lots of bikes, boats and kayaks to explore the grounds. I was surprised by how close the resort is to the town centre of Hua Hin - doesn't take much more than 10 minutes in a car. This is a high quality, peaceful oasis - probably the nicest resort I've stayed in in the Cha-Am/Hua Hin area.
This really is a lovely place to stay. Very calm and peaceful - the perfect place to go back to after time in the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin town. The resort stands out from others for these reasons: Everything is pristine, including the gardens which is unusual in my experience of Thai resorts (normally there is rubbish or rubble lying around the place), very spacious grounds (big enough to ride bikes round), good quality furniture and fittings in the room (including flat screen TV with lots of English channels and a very hot shower), big private balcony with day bed as well as chairs, thoughtful bamboo screening between rooms to create privacy on the balcony, very close to Hua Hin but feels like a world away because it's so serene, a pool surrounded by trees so there is shade. This resort exceeded my expectations. Very nice.
