A horrible public bathroom by the entrance (smelly and not clean at all). Rooms are nice. Stairs dirty/dusty. Messy appearance almost everwhere. Breakfast: breakfast area, food, service and cleanliness is the worst I have seen in Thailand. My friend could not eat there. It just looked discusting. We skipped breakfast the second day. Was not worth it. Rooms are nice, but a train passes by and makes noise quite often. Swimming pool OK, but the area around was not appealing.
I have a very bad foot problem, so the staff always kept an eye on me, very caring. There is a train running close by, but you get used to it. What i didn't like was, everything closed down at 10.30 pm, in this area. for the night life, it's about a 35 min walk, or walk to Tescos, 10 min walk, then catch a tuk tuk, 100 Bt.
The hotel could be quite nice if the management cared about their facility. The linen was old and ragged, the breakfast was always cold and sparse, the floors and common areas were not clean. The room furniture was old and the main light in our room didn't work as didn't the "free" internet access.
