Serene at Chiangrai is standing in the heart of Golden Triangle, its located along Mae Khong River where is spectacular waterfront panorama view overlook scenic views of Laos and Myanmar. The hotel is far from Amphur Chiangsaen 7 km which is on the opposite side of Wat Sop Ruak.

This is a lovely small hotel with magnificent views, great staff and its good value for money.
Nice hotel - spectacularly (and conveniently) positioned. The Deluxe River View room is well worth the extra, so treat yourself. The room was very spacious with large sliding doors leading onto balcony with great views. Very short walk to the big golden Buddha, House of Opium, river boats, etc. and convenience stores very close by. I particularly liked being able to use the pool at night - not overlooked by rooms.
A modern hotel in a perfect location. The name is a bit decieving of its actual location. Convenient restaurant although a bit expensive.
