Don't bother eating there too expensive and fair at best. Breakfast was way over priced, cold and below average at best.

The hotel location is very VERY central. The night bazaar is open every day at night. All you have to do is walk out and experience the culture. Opposite the hotel, there is a lane which will open up into a big hawker centre with more shopping and seafood restaurants. If you need some of the usual western food, there are bars and some german pubs as well as a Mc D, burger king, subway, starbucks right beside and opposite the hotel. Location is an A+!
Staff at the hotel are also very well spoken, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, still quiet new and room service is fast and efficient. My sister got sick and the hotel immediately called for a doctor for us. You can also book 1/2 to 2 day tours, from the hotel, to visit the next town or elephant parks and some local tribal villages. The tour guides are usually very helpful, funny, well spoken and if you're lucky, good looking too ;)
Just a note to those very tall/larger people, you might want to pay a little extra to get a private tour and request for a bigger car/van because in group tours, there will be at least 11-12 people in a van. It might be uncomfortable for those with longer legs, especially if you are taking the whole day tour. But, with group tours, you get to make new friends :)

I felt the hotel looked very old and run down.
The beds were so hard I might as well have been on the floor...
the location was however great, right amongst the night markets.
