New mitrapap Hotel

2 stars hotel. good to stay for 1 or 2 persons. Best value for money. 330 BHT a night. Perfect location right in the city near by market and minibus terminal. lots of information of tour services and maps. might be a little trouble with staffs at the front desk but the rest of the hotel service is good.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BUDGET HOTEL, ONE WOULD NOT ASK FOR MORE WITH THAT PRICE. THERE IS NO NASTY SMELL, AIRCON/HOT WATER BATH/SHEETS AND TOWELS WERE GOOD AND CLEAN. WHETHER U ARE ON A BUDGET OR NOT, IT IS EXCELLENT.
BEST OF ALL IT IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANT TO THE MARKET FOR BUYING SNACKS/FRUITS ETC.

A great hotel at a very good price. I recommend it for travellers on a tight budget. It is clean, the staff are friendly and efficient and it is close to Chinatown with shops and a great night market with cheap food and clothes as well as being not more than a ten minute walk to the walled city and five minutes to the Ping river. The rooms are cleaned every day with clean sheets and towels and toiletries, not to mention wifi, aircon and a cable TV. It is not luxurious by any means and the breakfast is more than basic but for the price it is a bargain! The beds are comfortable and I notice that my room has been painted since last year. I would be surprised if you could find better cheap accommodation in Chiang Mai for a short term visit.
