Ketawa hotel is located in the peaceful historical Wat Kate area along the Ping River which is 15 minutes from the airport and only 5 minutes from the bus and train stations. Many sightseeing attractions, artist shop houses, restaurants and popular night pubs lie within a few minutes stroll of Ketawa. From the hotel, it is just 5 minutes walk to downtown. The moated old town is only a short drive beyond in Chiangmai area.
Ketawa is not one of the glamorous hotel but we stick to our very own concept of friends and family. We want our guests to feel comfortable as if they were at their own homes or their friends. That is why the lobby area is made similar to a living room with indoor part to rest from a long hot day and the outdoor part to breath in the cool fresh air under the tamarind tree on later afternoons. ... The hotel is close to the River side area. this is good for a night out but not so good if you want to recover after a day trip out. You can hear the music until the earlt hours of the morning.
Do not have your breakfast at the hotel unless you are a size 0 model who only stares at her food. It was a waste of money and you get charged extra for everything.
The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. Over all onot bad but a bit overpriced.

we had a nice experience, the rooms are clean, we could get a good rest and people in the hotel nice and willing to help. the location is good, and the area not noisy
