Location
Ban Sabai Village Resort & Spa is perfectly located to
benefit equally from all three, located just five kilometres
from the busy city centre and its tourist infrastructure,
yet peacefully hidden among pretty rice and vegetable
fields away from the hustle and bustle. Chiang Mai is also well serviced with an international airport that receives flights from Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Kunming, Luang Prabang, Mandalay and Seoul (Incheon). We’ll be there to meet you, and there are also several flights an hour from Bangkok and daily flights to Koh Samui and Phuket.
Each of the rooms and villa is equipped with minibar, air conditioning, complimentary tea and coffee making set, TV and music stereo. Free wireless in the entire resort and at the library a free internet station is available to be connected with the world.

The photos of the hotel in the internet were very nice. Everything looked nice, but in real everything was very small and not so nice. Internet photos and reality was totally different. When we arrived we were disappointed. For instance, the pool looked spacious on the internet but in real it was very very small. Really disappointing.
The breakfast was very boring, only jam (no sausage or cheese). The jam and the nutella was very old and not fresh anymore. The service staff was nice but very slowly.

We loved our stay at Ban Sabai. The amenities and service were second to none, and the small size of the resort gave us more privacy and relaxation than we would experience at other resorts/hotels (although we did stay there during their low-peak season). Their villa rates and room service / restaurant meals are very affordable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend Ban Sabai to others. The size of the villas would be very suited to a small family. Our "Emerald" villa had it's own private steam room, sauna and outdoor bathroom with jacuzzi. Reception staff were very helpful and made excellent dining and sightseeing activity recommendations, and organised car hire for us. We also received massage vouchers upon check-out for use during our next stay - a generous bonus. If we are staying in Chiang Mai we will most likely choose to stay at Ban Sabai again. Our only regret is not spending more time in Chiang Mai so we would have had a better opportunity to utilise Ban Sabai's spa and massage treatments.
