Convenient Grand Hotel Suvarnabhumi Airport

We only used this hotel as a stop over for an early flight. we arrived at 7pm and checked out at 6am. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant was okay, nothing to shout about but we had a nice meal and the bar man let me pour my own measures of alcohol. Convenient for flights.

Hotel is about 15-20 min. drive from the airport. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and in good condition. Breakfast was fine, restaurant clean, light and spacious with a play corner for kids.

Free collection from the airport, so although it's a bit further out than some other airport hotels, that's not really a problem. Online special offer price was a big factor for me. Booking direct with the hotel was almost double which I wouldn't have been happy to pay, but the online price for superior room + ABF for B1,150 is good value.

I live in Thailand and so would also recommend, if like me, you prefer not to drive in BKK. I prefer to take the train from the airport instead.

Close to the airport and with shuttle service. AC not running on all floors so very hot on our floor. But otherwise a nice hotel.
