Rembrandt Towers Serviced Apartments

Good promotion price and convienient location.
But the booking through Asia webb was not found by the hotel so I got at start smoking room which was terrible. I asked for a non smoking room the next morning as I slept badly because of the smell from the smoke in the ben linnen.
The hotel quickly got me the new room which was more like a regular hotel room. Newly renovated and fresh so I don't have any complains about that. No cooking area though but the tea and coffee hot water maker.

The service was not on top as on Rembrandt hotel, where I stayed for 5 days before I moved into The Tower. The receptionist hardly looked at me when I arrived nor say nothing. I had to carry my luggage to the room myself upon check in. Comparing with the hotel staff, the tower staff almost treated me like air.
But of course when asking for services such as printing out some documents they were friendly to offer that with no extra charge.

I don't mind being anonymous when walking in and out from the hotel, but if you are used to have more personal treatment and service then The Rembrandt hotel is more likely for you.

I loved the pool area though. But besides that, I would prefer the hotel instead of the tower.

The have also just started to do renovation on 3 floors that made construction noises during 9 am - 5 pm. Heard that also spending time by the pool, but staying in Bangkok you'll hear construction noises from everywhere. Just cope with it.
The are planning this reconstruction work a year forward and moving downward from what I understand. Good, perhaps they will improve the worn down floors lower down in the building.
