Nantra De Comfort

Efficient, friendly staff, clean, well appointed rooms and a quiet location off Soi Thong Lo. The ten minutes walk to the BTS Sky train is a great way to get a little exercise in busy Bangkok. Excellent value for money!

Nantra de comfort is a value-oriented hotel. At $30 or 1,000Bt per night there are bound to be trade-offs. The room was clean and fresh with a comfortable queen-sized bed. My room had some ambient noise from the road, but not enough to keep me awake. The curtains were thin and so more light was let into the room than I would prefer. There was some obvious wear and tear on the furniture and fixtures, but at this price point Nantra de Comfort performed better than I expected (my expectations were very low). Breakfast was included but as expected was minimal. Do yourself a favour and go out for food. Water pressure was good with hot water. The big drawback is location. It is off of Sukhumvit soi 55 (Thonglor). There is a BTS skytrain station at the intersection, but the hotel is a solid 15 minute walk away. Generally this would not impede me, but in the heat of Bkk this will do most people in. The solution was to hail down the motor-cycle taxis. The cost 15bt per trip. The hotel has two computer stations and free-WIFI. No pool, but who cares. There was an in-room safe but it was not bolted down. You could just carry it away. That did not promote confidence in me. Overall a good place to stay on the cheap. All I needed was a place to put my head down that was clean and safe. Nantra de comfort delivered on that promise. I would recommend and would stay there again.

This hotel is exceptional value for money with very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the Nantra De Comfort hotel for budget accommodation.
