It is also only minutes from the Queen Sirikit Convention Center and near major commercial buildings and shopping centers.

On the more modern side of town the hotel is well located for shopping, bars and restaurants. However, would probably not recommend the area for families or romantic couples as there is an obvious vibe of the sexual side of Bangkok.

Great modern hotel with beautiful pool. Close to BTS (public transport) which is terrific! Love the master switch control in the room to turn on/off lights and adjust room temperature. Will come back!
Grand Sukhaumvit is a nice hotel and provide excellent facilities to the clients. However on services, it should improve further. Details about new comers to Thialand should be readily available at the reception with some good communicator staff. Internet facility should be included in the hotel reservation charges or atleast the free wifi access shouold be available in the the lounge, business centre and coffee shop.
