The hotel is rather shabby (peeling wallpaper and electrical cords hanging down from the ceiling in the corridor) but the room was a good size, the AC worked very well, the king size bed was very good, the room was clean (the walls had a few marks but no big deal), the fridge was well stocked with beverages and the desk with a nice variety of dry good snacks. BUT the location for this part of town is excellent; it's in the 'red light district' with lots of 'beside the road/on the side walk' stalls selling everything, lots of bars and lots of available ladies. The price represented very good value. Gulliver's (one of my favourite restaurants in the Sukhumvit area) is directly opposite the entrance, down a short side soi.

If you are looking for a nice hotel around Sukhumvit Soi 3, I highly recommend this one: I only paid 1200 THB per night for two persons: it was clean, large bed... And everything is near, you can walk if you need to reach another Sukhumvit road...

I found this hotel terrible. It is on a horrible part of sukhumvit road and the condition it was kept in was shocking. Dirty sheets on the bed, fleas in the bathroom. A/C did not work and our door lock was broken for a good hour till someone fixed it leaving us stuck in our room.
