If you are looking for a nice hotel around Sukhumvit Soi 3, I highly recommend this one: I only paid 1200 THB per night for two persons: it was clean, large bed... And everything is near, you can walk if you need to reach another Sukhumvit road...
I found this hotel terrible. It is on a horrible part of sukhumvit road and the condition it was kept in was shocking. Dirty sheets on the bed, fleas in the bathroom. A/C did not work and our door lock was broken for a good hour till someone fixed it leaving us stuck in our room.
