The Swiss Lodge

The rooms are too small for bringing two kids (5 and 1 year) and the hotel is not really geared to families. Swimmingpool to small to our kids liking.
Some of the staff at the restaurant were not enough service minded. Also though breakfast overall was fine, there were a couple of errors like the fruit tasted of onion because it had been cut with knife or chopping board where onion had also been cut. Strongly recommend that restaurant develop a kids menu. Despite asking for a children pasta portion we were billed full price for the pasta buffet eventhough they only had one plate.

A great hotel in a perfect location to local markets, shopping and sky train. Friendly staff and lovely clean facilities. Lovely to come home to after a hectic day of marketing.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The beds however needs to be changed with hardly any springs in them. A double/king size bed is just 2 singles put together which is rather ridiculous especially when the hotel is not full.
The breakfast spread is acceptable except for the eggs which took forever to come whilst my toast and other food got cold and from an over easy order it became an omellete. I did not return it cause it would take another 15 mins to arrive.
I would not stay in this hotel again if not for the excellent location which I think should not be an excuse for not upgrading the beds and take better charge of improving situation on the eggs.
