The rooms all include air conditioning, televisions, and individual reading lights. They are also spacious enough where this doesnt cause much of a problem. On site facilities center around providing a comfortable atmosphere and providing a chance for communal growth. Community bathrooms, lounge areas, and a restaurant provide plenty of time to relax and meet fellow travelers without ever having to leave the hostel.

This hostel is excellent. The room was much larger than I expected. The whole hostel is clean (with the exception of a few moldy shower curtains and dirty shower stalls-nothing crazy though). The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a cafe with great food and a resturant inside the hostel. I didn't care for Thai food, so I won't comment on the resturant food. The location isn't great, but tours will pick you up from this hostel and taxis are cheap.

Saphaipae was definitely a good choice in Bangkok, so clean and plenty of space to hang out in your down time.
Stayed here twice and both times we had no problems whatsoever. The tourist advice desk was really helpful, she booked out bus and boat to Koh Tao for us and recommended markets and sights we could see in the day, fun lady but professional too!
Use the BTS rather than taxis to get around as traffic is a nightmare everywhere!

Saphaipae Hostel is very clean, our double room was quite big and had a great view. Only minus: It was not possible to open a window in the room; there is air conditioning though. It's possible to rent DVDs for free, a nice extra. Wifi worked well in the room. The hostel is located on the skytrain. The huge size of the hostel makes it very anonym though.
