The Banyan Tree Bangkok is as close to a perfect hotel as any I know. It's a wonderfully managed hotel with stunning views and great staff. Not cheap but worth the splurge.
We have stayed at hundreds hotels around the world this being the best EVER!
Staff is SO friendly - All of them. Facilities are luxurious, breakfast is heaven and the restaurants are really really good (we tried 3 of them). Normally we rare eat at hotels, but this time we had to try because of the friendly staff - we were not disappointed!
We travelled with three small children, this hotel being our last stop after 3 weeks in the southern islands of Thailand.
We stayed for 2 nights, hardly wanting to leave at all during our stay - and really not wanting to leave at all!
Highly recommended! This being the first time wanting to spend time writing a review, but this hotel deserter it ...
We will stay at Banyan Tree around the world again for sure.

Having stayed in three other hotels in Thailand, on a value for money basis the Banyan Tree was a poor third. Certainly an experience not to be missed, but definately over priced.
