Only 3 minutes walk from Sky train Wong Vien Yai BTS station. The advantage of staying at Aiya Residence is the location of the hotel. The Hotel located on the residential part of the city but not yet too far to reach everything Bangkok has to offer. Being in the residence part of the city also made guests of Aiya Residence enjoying less touristic concentrated scene where the prices of everything tagged at local rate and the people are less force selling you of things at unreasonable price. And yes its only 3 minutes walk to Skytrain Wong Vien Yai station, made its very convenient to commute into downtown Bangkok.
Aiya Residence & Sport Club includes 131 guest rooms of Superior and Deluxe types. The Superior Room provides basic amenities fit all type of travellers includes individually air conditioning unit and shower. ... Decent budget hotel with a fantastic swimming pool. Location is great for a truly Thai experience, but if you want major restaurants you must travel a good distance away.
Great location, nice clean room, comfortable bed, great price, fast laundry, good restaurant, good gym, knowlegable staff, elevator smells like moth balls.
Rooms need a complete face lift. From the advertised photos of this hotel compared to what you get is quiet different. I would say false advertising to me.The gym facilities are great but you have to pay to use and they have a wonderful restaurant that uis well worth trying. The location is about a ten minute walk to BTS and the road leading to BTS is quiet narrow and dangerous.
