Khao San - Old City average

Good value for money. Great location, with a large variety of shops, bars, clubs and resturants in the surrounding area. Rooms weren't in great condition and very small, but relatively clean and respectable. All in all a good stay.
I really can't recommend neither the hotel nor the Khao San Area - the latter is of course subject of individual preferences ;-)
The windows are leaky, the air-con is very loud, the rooms are very small, the double bed doesn't deserve that name and is also named "twin room", the staff at check-in was unfriendly - but the hotel is cheap.
We did not stay, although we paid in advance.
After booking via internet sitting in the lobby with my laptop, we left to pick up our baggage. When we returned, we found our door open. Luckily we did nod leave any goods in the hotel.
This is definetly not a safe place!

The room was not worth it. Especially the shower. A smale place with right in the middle the toilet and on the one side the shower - place of 25 cm - and on the other side half a square meter
