Golden house Hotel

Breakfast is too simple. Should have more choices.

Location is perfect. Just about 3 minutes from Childlom Sky Train station. However, we were pretty disappointed about the room and services (no one to help with luggages). The room was clean and neat, slightly small from what you see in the website.

We must say that the rate of the hotel was really mis-leading. We thought it was around 1500 Baht but once when u have done th credit card, it comes to to more than 2000 per night. For that rate, we could get 3-4 star hotels. Even 1500 is not really worth it.

May be between 1000-1200 including breakfast would be reasonable.

Staff are friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately when I made the booking online, the room rate was quoted at 1,274baht x 3 nights = 3,822baht, but when I rec'd the booking voucher, it was 4,625baht; an increase of 803baht. This does not make the hotel as competitive as I had originally thought. I didn't spot the difference as I trusted Asia Web Direct. Besides the quote was for one night, and the booking was for the full three nights. The 'normal' walk-in rate is 1,500baht per night, so does it make sense to book through this website? When on a budget, it makes a lot of difference as 803baht can get you two meals on the street. As I had stayed the full three nights, I had no choice but to pay the full amount. A pity that this marred the overall pleasant stay.
