We expected a lower-end hotel, and given those expectations we were actually pretty happy with the room. However, there is NO airport shuttle provided, as the hotel web-site claims (or claimed), so expect to get a taxi if you're heading that way.
It's a convenient place to stay as it's very close to the airport. The restaurant needs a massive uplift in both service and choice. I walked in to the entire staffs lunchtime and felt pretty much like an intruder. They should be prepared for guests coming to their place of work. I can tell they were not pleased to see me (I was the only person in the restaurant). There were no bistro items to order even though there is a large sign outside stating "Bay Bistro". They should keep a cash register at the restaurant to avoid making a guest wait for change as they run down to reception to get it.
Reasonable value for money. Good breakfast. Free transfer only from hotel to airport. Need to pay 300 Baht for taxi from airport to hotel.
