Stretching far into south eastern Bangkok, Bangna is largely a suburban district but with recently opened connections on the sky train it poses to get drawn closer to the centre of the city. Opened in late 2011, the sky train connection has brought a new crowd to the area but there is still plenty to enjoy in this authentic part of the capital. Central Plaza ... More>Bangna is a big highlight incorporating a shopping mall and cinema as well as a theme park/aqua park on the roof! Similarly one of the largest shopping centres you will ever see, Seacon Square, is located close to Bangna. A true giant of a mall, Seacon Square is also neighboured by another mall, (because one is never enough), aiming at a slightly richer crowd. Despite being largely residential there are still plenty of Bangna hotels to choose from.
The Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is the capital's major conference and business heart. Staying in a Bangna hotel would allow easy access to BITEC and the airport which is nearby.
