Seoul Hotels
Seoul is located on the Han River in Northwest of South Korea and only ~50 km south of the North Korean border, also known as the de-militarized zone (DMZ). Seoul is an ancient city, having served as the historic capital of the Baekje Dynasty and Joseon Dynasty. The Seouls downtown is the Joseon Dynastys centre of heritage and the most historically significant street in Seoul is Jongno, meaning Bell Street. Traffic jams are very common in Seoul, so be careful on the streets and head underground when possible. To find a place, you need to locate the nearest subway stations/landmarks or ask the friendly people, since very few streets in Seoul named. Myeongdong is probably the largest and best-known area for shopping in Seoul. It has a duty free shop the same as in Incheon Airport.
