Gardens Hotels

Tucked in neatly between Cape Town’s famous Table Mountain and the City Bowl, Gardens is aptly-named so because of an abundance of lush greenery and trees. The area’s charms, however, go beyond its good location on the mountain slopes and wonderful views over Table Bay. Many fine restaurants and shopping treats abound – especially at the very modern Gardens Shopping Centre – and have made it very popular with tourists over the years. Oranjezicht and Tamboerskloof are two areas bordering it, and add to offerings in the form of wonderful café-style eating experiences, art and antique shopping. A scenic drive over the Kloof Nek pass takes you to Camps Bay on the Atlantic Seaboard, from where this and many other wonderful Atlantic Ocean beaches can be explored.
