Orchard Parade Hotel by Far East Hospitality

The hotel location is excellent. However, for the price that it charges I expected better service and standard of cleanliness. My booking very clearly specified a request for a baby cot for my infant son, so it should not have come as a surprise. There was no baby cot in the room when we checked in and I had to remind the hotel of my request. It took the hotel over 2 hours to find and provide a cot, and when the cot finally came it had a broken frame.

Also, the grout in the bathroom tiles was mouldy in places which was not what I would have expected of a hotel of this standard. The drainage in the bath/shower was also very slow, suggesting blockage and poor maintenance.

Overall the stay was pleasant and I would return, but I think the hotel could do more to improve its standards to make guest experience a better one.

Mini bar did not work and told reception but nothing was done to fix it. The gym equipment did not work. Not worth staying here for the rates they charge
