Hotel 81 Dickson has 196 rooms, located with Serangoon area, bordering Bencoolen Street. While there are no restaurants in the hotels, there are Indian restaurants galore within the neighbourhood.

The only good rooms are the Deluxe ones. The other rooms are very small and the toilets are pretty basic. In fact, there were some other guests who cancelled their reservations while we were there.
The check-out time at this hotel is 12 Noon. If you reach Singapore early in the morning, then do not stay here. Even though you stay for less than 24 hours, you may have to pay an additional $10 per hour (I paid $40 extra).
But the facilities are superb. The people are friendly.
The internet in my room was not working. When I told the hotel manager, he immediately gave me the room key of another room.
Location is also good (about 15 minutes walk from the nearest MRT).
