good location to find busses and subway
I arrivd to the hotel to a makeshift foyer, not pleasant, with a 2 star walk to the lift. I chose the hotel as it has a pool. The problem is there was no pool, an next to no reception. I was really upset as I was in singapore doing medical procedures so wanted to rest in the sun by the pool. I could have booked another hotel much cheaper without a pool or another for the same price ( or less) with a pool. The hotel doen not say it is doing renovations and charges the same rates as if they were operating normally. This is bad. They offered me to walk a city block to go to the YMCA. Not much fun feeling unwell walking a city block to have a swim then returning in wet swimwear. The in house dining menu was abismal. I had to go out to eat there was nothing I would eat on the menu.
The hotel room was clean and the layout of the suite was nice. We were suppose to check in into a superior room, but an upgrade was given free due to the waiting time and we were only to check in at 3pm. We can hear the doors slamming one level on top of us and the doors slamming outside.
