The River View Hotel is conveniently located close to Clarke Quay, Chinatown and within walking distance to Orchard Road. The facilities were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and taxis were always available. The bar staff make a pretty tasty Singapore Sling, too.
Good value, functional hotel providing spacious, comfortable accommodation with interesting outlooks and pleasant walks along the river. Although not centrally situated, bus stops and a taxi stand outside enable good access to anywhere in the city. A few more smiles from the staff would be nice!
Inflexible staff, bureaucratic, No real concept of service.
