Cluj-Napoca Hotels

Cluj-Napoca is a city in north-western Romania and the seat of Cluj County. The city is one of the most important academic, cultural and industrial centres in Romania. It is located in the historic province of Transylvania, approximately 440 km north-west of Bucharest, in the Someşul Mic Valley. The name derived from Klause (meaning mountain pass). Many places of interest in the city scaling a number of tourists e.g. Matthias Corvinus’ statue that always drawn by tourists, although officially this is not allowed and the old St. Michael’s Church in the Union Square, right in the middle of the city are worth a visit. The Union Square and the Museum Square are vastly worth discovering samples of baroque and gothic architecture dating back to the 14th Century.
