About Ermita - Malate:
Ermita - Malate; is one of two of Manila s oldest neighbourhoods, the other being Malate. Both are within a short walk of Manila Bay. Infamous up until the late 1980 s for its go-go bars and massage parlours, it is now a more respectable spot. Centrally located, it is home to both budget and international standard hotels.
