The homestead sits in a predator-free environment with wonderful forest walks. The forest is home to "Ratanui" which is believed to be the largest northern rata in New Zealand. Many endangered birds can be seen such as saddleback, north island robin, wood pigeon etc. Just 20 minutes from Wanganui with widespread views across the countryside.
