City Lights is a brand new Boutique Lodge set in 2 acres of grounds half way up Mount Ngongotaha in the city of Rotorua. Opened in December 2008, we are a purpose built Luxury Boutique B&B offering 3 beautiful en-suite rooms with sumptuous linens and drapes. With just 3 rooms we can offer a top class service as well as privacy. We have fantastic facilities including a guest lounge with computer station including FREE wireless broadband internet, real fire and heat pump/air conditioner.

We can offer plenty of off road parking for trailers, boats etc. Garage parking can be arranged with the management if preferred.

All guest bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with amenities, tea/coffee making facility, bottled water, walled mounted LCD TV with Sky, wall mounted CD/Radio, hairdryer, local art on walls (some for sale), bathrobes, thermostatically controlled heaters, double glazed windows. ... [+] More

We also have a separate 2 bedroom cottage, which is offered on a self catering basis. One bedroom with Queen bed, another bedroom with single bunk beds. Fully equipped kitchen, with oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, bathroom with toiletries. Lounge/kitchen/dining area and small laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. All towels and bedding included and price is for 4 people max. Decks and gardens to enjoy the lovely views. This unit is brand new, but is not included in our Qualmark rating as it is self contained. Parking outside for 2 cars.

Other facilities at the main house include a gym, outdoor spa, and infrared sauna. Laundry also available (charges may apply). All prices include continental breakfast!!

We have been in the accommodation industry in Rotorua for over 4 years and welcome the chance to help you plan the most from your trip. Attractions and restaurant advice freely given and bookings can be made by your hosts on request at no charge. We have 4 Alpacas, Jelly the Jack Russell and Snowy the cat - all guest friendly.

Child policy: we do not allow children under the age of 12 years in the B&B rooms (staying in the Tui Suite with adults).
