Campers can select from 17 powered campsites suitable for tents or motorhomes. Cosy cedar cabins will be available for the 2008 ski season.

Abisko can accommodate small conferences up to a maximum of 30 people. School groups can also be catered for.

Abisko is the ideal base for winter skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Mt Hutt skifield while plenty of summer activities will keep you busy.

At the end of your day, join us and relax in the lounge area with a glass or New Zealand wine or a steaming hot coffee or just relax and unwind in the spa pool or sauna.

We are a great base for outdoor receation with 2 good golf courses within easy reach, Mt.Somers Sub Alpine Walkway, Rakaia Gorge, Awa Awa Rata Reserve and Methven Walkways. Try trout or salmon fishing, jet boating, hot air ballooning or visit the Lord of the Rings site Edoras.

There are 12 rooms in the Lodge which are all en-suite with TV, tea/coffee facilities. All rooms are heated and all beds have electric blankets.

We have 1 studio room which has a double bed and is en-suiteed with a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster. Studio room also has a TV & DVD player.

The apartments are 3 bedroomed 2 bathrooms with full kitchen facilities, lounge/dining area. These apartments sleep 1 - 8 people. Also they have TV & DVD player nd full use of of recreation facilities at the Lodge inlcuding the spa, sauna and bar.

Facilities include spa & sauna, lounge/bar with Log burner & games.
