The private bush setting of our accommodation allows you to see native NZ birds at close range whilst being only minutes from the Paihia town centre and an extensive range of Bay of Islands cruises, activities and cafes. The Retreat is a relaxed and private alternative to motel and hotel accommodation.

The panoramic sea views and coastal location are breathtaking. The Retreat has 1 studio and 8 spacious 1 and 2-bedroom units with full kitchens, decks and stunning sea views over the Bay of Islands.

Six of our Units are Duplexes and 2 free standing and all sit looking out over The Bay and are spacious, clean and well appointed with fully equipped Kitchens and Queen Beds. Also, our two bedroom units are great for families and Couples.
