Casablanca is on the western coast against the Atlantic Ocean, 100 km south of Rabat. It is the largest and a major industrial city as well as modern economic centre of Morocco. Travellers coming there for romantic time as seen in the film and songs in the same name would be disappointed, since the city’s scene is more industrial served that ordinates slums, drugs and so on, yet the romantic flirtation scenes are also visible, when boys boldly flying around meagrely-clad girls on the beach, whereas designer’s labels and French spoken are the norm of new Moroccan generation.
