Kuramathi spa offers both on land and over-water single and couples treatment rooms. Therapies at the spa include traditional European style or Asian-blend couple massages including Balinese, Thai and Ayurvedic, slimming and forming treatments, body wraps, beauty treatments, decorative art including piercing and henna tattoos, depilatory waxing, hair dressing and facials. Kid's Club at Kuramathi Island, open from 08.30 hrs to 22:00 hrs, Bageecha offers age-appropriate fun experiences to our younger guests. A wide range of outdoor and indoor activities is organised for kids of 3 to 12 years including many activities such as nature walks, treasure hunts, beach activities, as well as guided snorkelling and marine life education in conjunction with the resort's Eco Centre. Kuramathi Medical Centre is one of the best equipped facility in this area, and features the largest hyperbaric (decompression) chamber in the Maldives. It is equipped to handle major diving accidents or other emergencies. The Medical Centre also features modern diagnostic devices for carrying out ECG, X-rays, blood analyses and audiometry, and includes a small ward with two beds. Two European doctors, a Diving Medical Officer and a General Practitioner, are employed year round. Visa No prior visa is required to enter the Republic of Maldives. Entry permit will be granted to visitors on arrival at designated ports of entry, based on the immigration requirements. All transfers from/to Kuramathi are combined airport transfers. These transfers are scheduled as per the flight arrival/departure for the day. Guests may have to wait at the airport upon arrival to take the next available transfer. Final airport transfer timings are only decided one day prior to arrival. Please advise your flight details at the time of making your reservation. Arrival Transfers from Male International Airport to Kuramathi are usually scheduled between 0600 hrs to 1530 hrs. There is no night or evening transfer to Kuramathi. Departure Transfers from Kuramathi to Male International Airport are usually scheduled between 0600 hrs to 1500 hrs. There is no night or evening transfer from Kuramathi. Return transfers by seaplane at US $250+taxes per person. The baggage limit on the seaplane is 20 kgs per person. Excess baggage would be charged at US $4+taxes per kg.
