About Baa Atoll:
Just south of the Raa Atoll and North of the Male Atoll, lies the Baa Atoll, home to superb white sandy beaches, and palm trees. In the Baa Atoll, islands and surrounding clear waters offer water-sport lovers perfect scuba diving and surfing opportunities. Large numbers of whale sharks and mantas are main performers in the vast undersea. Although tuna fishing is the main occupation, the capital island of Baa Atoll, Eydhafushi, is well-known for Feyli weaving, a wraparound skirt for women.
