Royal Mulu Resort is the 3 stars accommodation, right in the middle of the heart of the oldest rainforest in the world and the site of the world heritage, home to the world's famous "Mulu Caves". The range mountains forms a spectacular backdrop to the resort. From the entrance of one of the famous caves, the Deer cave, is clearly visible. From there,more than 3 millions bats leave every day at dusk for their night feeding. Just 30 minutes flight from Miri and half an hour from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Royal Mulu Resort has 188 tastefully designed rooms consisting of Royal Suite, Crown Suite (with adjoining living and dining room), Executive Suites (with adjoining living room)& Deluxe Chalet rooms. The Resort has two (2) Food and beverage outlet. The Wildflower Restaurant is the main outlet which open from 7:00am until 11:00pm, and combines the best of local, Chinese and Western Cuisine. Its also home to our own, well known dance group, the "Sri Melinau Dance Troupe", performing traditional dances from 7 major ethnics of Sarawak region every evening at 8:00pm. Don't forget to also check out our special dish, For those tropical evenings in the rainforest, come and join us in the Riverside Lounge located in our main lobby area. Have a drink while watching music videos, or have a go at Karaoke!

For those who like to pamper themselves, come and try the Royal Mulu Spa massage. We offered lots of special packages of treatment which definately will refeshing you after a tiring day. Easy trail walks in the jungle area available around the resortand you may climb up a limestone crop just opposite for a good view of the area. You can help yourself to the resort's range bicycles to ride to the National Park headquaters, 15 minutes away to view its exhibition or for just good old-fashioned exercise.

The resort swimming pool is truly special. Four (4) feet deep and 15 by 6 metres wide, the pool is surrounded by sprawlingdeck that is ideal for sunbathing. A retractable fountain plays in the middle of the pool, enhancing the visual treat. We provide room service till 11:00 in the evening, safety deposit boxes, 24 hours power supply on 220 - 240 volts, currency exchange and information and travel services available at the Front Desk. Royal Mulu Resort will be undergoing a renovation work for the whole resort starting 15th October 2011 and it will take 1 year 6 months to complete. The restaurant and reception area will be shifted to the Ballroom area while swimming pool & Riverside Lounge will be closed.
