Sepilok Forest Edge Resort

We thought this was an excellent location, close to the Rehab Centre and Rainforest Discovery Centre, at a fair price. The food was good. We only stayed in a longhouse room with attached shower and toilet which was in fair condition and quite adequate for a short stay, as we are on a budget. The chalets were obviously much better accommodation at a higher rate. It was very very wet (being the wet season) while we were there, so we couldn't take advantage of the jungle trails that are on the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was basic but good and we had no problems with preordering dinner. The rainforest setting is just amazing and if it hadn't been so wet, we might have seen a bit more wildlife around us

Very good hotel in an excellent location within walking distance of the orangatang sanctuary. Good selection and quality of food in restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made special arrangements for an early evening meal and transport back to the airport in time for our departure flight.
