Hotel Seafront Sandakan

By check in we had to verify our credit card and we were asked for a PIN number! We said that it is not necessary for a verification and also not for paying a bill. We had a very bad feeling because of that experience and would never give them a creditcard again. Now, we would pay by cash! We had the worst room in this hotel, directly under the housetop. The bed and the towel was clean, but not the room.To have a shower was nearly impossible because the water droped down at the wall and we used a bottle which we filled up with water at the valve and emptyed it above our head. By using the toilet water flow at the floor. The air condition worked but if we switched it of it was very hot soon. When it was raining at night it droped water from the ceiling. The main road at night was very noicy. The breakfast is a joke. We got a cup of coffee, 4 half untoasted toasts a littly spoon of jam and a egg which was not cooked longer than 3 minutes. The table was dirty. We would never come back to this hotel.
