in true BON TON Style, is a total eclectic mix of Retail, Restaurants and Residences, over two separate rows of heritage Chinese Shop Houses. One row of 5 houses, built in 1927, is behind the Goddess of Mercy temple in Stewart Lane. The other row of 4 houses is located at the start of the heritage walk in Armenian Street. The 5 minute walk between the two follows Harmony Street where one can find a Chinese Temple, Indian Temple, Islamic Mosque & Christian Church. The Straits Collection is managed by Brand Bon Ton. Bon Ton owns and operates two heritage resorts in Langkawi; Bon Ton Resort and Temple Tree. Both have won international awards.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. Interesting rooms and in a great location. Would definately recommend to fellow travellers looking for something a little different and appreciating the historic section of Georgetown
Shophouse accommodation in good location for old Penang. Very quaint, and different from the usual hotel experience.
The suite located in a nice area. The interior decoration is nice with comprehensive amenities. The staff are friendly and provide us with useful tips. The only down side is poor sound prove of the suite. Rain in the night time is well heard in the single bed bedroom. And the boardcast from nearly Islamic mosque is well heard in the master room at 6am. Motor vehicle noise also heard over the master bedroom.
