Great family resort. Relaxing plus enough activities for a short stay (4 nights)
The rooms looks a bit old and not well maintained. The wardrobe doors were not working and the bathtub has stains all over it. The bed is not very comfortable and air-con needs servicing. To explore outside the hotel for food and recreation requires the guest to walk all the way to the gate. I was told of this by the reception lady. However later i noticed that guest made use of the shuttle buses as a means to go the the gate. However if you come back past 10.30 pm be prepared to walk back to your chalet in a dimly lit road. The walk takes around 10 mins.
The service of Berjaya Tioman need to be improved especially the staff attitude and behavior as they are inpolite and rude to customer. Not customer oriented even though they are in service line.
