Hotel Grand Continental Kuantan

Swimming pool facility was under maintenance. Appreciate it if it is made known prior to reservation made.

Clean hotel condition. Convenience for dining and shopping as located in Kuantan City. Friendly service. But no much variety for breakfast.

This is my first time check in to a very horrible hotel. I won't go there anymore. The reason is:
1. It took me about 40minutes to check in although i already made a reservation. Do I have to wait that long?

2. I requested 1big bed but they gave me 2 single bed.I'm fine with it but their statement make me feel very bad. "Your room is the cheapest one in this hotel so there's nothing we can do." My room cost rm158 one night n i booked for 2 nights. I think at this price i can still find a good service from other hotel. BAD SERVICE.

3. On the first night at the hotel, I found out the peek hole at the door was installed wrongly. People from outside can see inside while I'm inside cannot see outside. No wonder there's some people keep knocking my door although I didnt open it. It's like they know there's people inside. I call receptionist to change room and they said, cannot change. so i want a refund to check in to other hotel, they said i will lost all my deposit. WHAT? the room got defect and u dont want to change room for me n u want to take my depo? DAMN.
