Here is where giant leatherback turtles return annually to lay eggs between the month of May to September. In the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang. Just 3 1/2 hours by road from Kuala Lumpur or 30 minutes from Kuantan by flight. By air just 35 minutes from Kuala Lumpur or 45 minutes from Singapore.

Great room, but dated bathroom disappointing. 2 lovely pools, but jacuzzi was not working. Restaurant had fab views, food was good but not amazing, & beer was (RM16 for 330ml) the most expensive I found in Malaysia.
total booked 4 rooms, took about 1.5 hours to check in. Took about 1 hour to check out cause charged 5 rooms, finally confirm one room is belong to other.

We reached the hotel about 2pm, we were so glad that the hotel upgraded ours to a superior room. (It was our wedding anniversary). However the room that they gave us was leaking, there was water dripping from the ceiling and the floor was wet, we complained and we were given another room. Thank you for both. anyway. The reception needs to be more service oriented. My husband called them to asked about something -no one answered the phone, and he had to personally go to the reception desk and the girl there was not courteous enough, the same girl did our check out. Front office needs to show more smiles. The hotel definitely needs refurbishments , one of the reason we choose the hotel because of it;s name has been around for long. The breakfast was an OK local breakfast, nice surrounding, with many plants and i really love the beach. I also noticed that the security guard was place near the beach most of the time. This is good.
