Reminiscent of a Tudor mansion from Shakespeare country, Concordes - The Lakehouse stands majestically on a hill in the Cameron Highlands , backed by state reserve forests with spectacular views over the Sultan Abu Bakar lake.

Built by the late Colonel Stanley Jack Foster, the resort blends perfectly with the surrounding rural landscape, and warm and welcoming hosts create a very special atmosphere for guests. Located in an area dubbed The Valley of Eternal Spring, the resort is within close proximity to key attractions and recreation facilities.

The rooms, location and ambience were all excellent. alot of details to tradition were kept intact. Breakfast (as it was included in the Hotel price - was good). Food (for Lunch and Dinner) - so-so and too pricy

Staff is nice and very friendly. Beautiful surrounding but main road traffic is disturbing. Room OK, but the bed was hard as stone, bathroom OK, but water pressure not OK. Taps are good looking but not functional for getting constant warm water. Rooms is basic but not worth the over RM500/ night. No TV no radio no internet in rooms, in todays world this is standard, weather you want to use them or not. Breakfast that includes was the most simple one we have experienced in a long time. For the price you pay it is not OK.

Thoughtful management reflected in all hotel offers, facilities and services. Staffs are friendly and polite.
Thanks so much to The Lakehouse for the generous upgrade to the Family Suite. My dad had a wonderful 70th birthday getaway there.
