Some 5 star facilities that have been allowed to deteriorate to about 3 star with many no longer operational.eg Kids club,water sport equipment.Staff attitudes were excellent but obviously little supervision or direction. Sad to see a hotel under Sheraton Brand allowed to get to this stage as obviously has been a great hotel in the past.
The staff at the hotel was not impressive. They were not service minded or professional in my opinion. They forgot stuff, they seemed occupied quite a lot and were not friendly in the manor I would expect from a 5-star hotel. There were few exceptions (such as a very friendly and talkative bartender by the pool). The only reason why I would return would be the scenery, the room itself or the pool bar.
Room was not full ready when reached, Spider Net around chairs and walls. small insects were runnung at coffe area. Mosquito also flying in room. Mini Bar was empty, no fruit plate available. Because whenever i stayed in five stars hotel turkey, south africa, Turkey Dubai, singapore etc fruit ball available for first day atleast...
