This is the worst 'hotel' in which I have ever stayed. They demanded cash for stay on arrival, the room was appalling, the food was disgusting and stone cold. I went out on the first night and returned about 11:30pm to find the whole place in complete darkness. Luckily I had a torch to find my way around. The building is in such disrepair that it is unsafe. On the second day, there was no power which meant cold shower in the morning, no hot drink for breakfast, no air-conditioning and no lift - I had to carry a heavy suitcase down 8 flights of stairs. I would have telephoned reception for someone to collect it but there are no telephones in rooms. I have stayed in hostels better than this. I would rather sleep in my car than stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was a great idea but has not been adequately managed or resourced. Much equipment is now damaged or spoilt. The staff were very friendly and helpful but are inexperienced and unable to cope. The reason for our delay in responding to this is it has taken this long to resolve payment. No credit card could be accepted at the hotel (2 hour wasted trying to resolve this), sending a cheque on return, they had given us the wrong bank account details. On receiving our cheque back we have only just had confirmation of receipt.
