Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya

My overall experience staying in Armada is quite pleasant, although actually getting to hotel itself is tough. There's a perpetual traffic jam from the main road leading to the hotel, and there's only one way in and out.

Room wise it's actually quite good with an LCD TV and comfortable bed. Clean and neat. But it lacked some basic stuff like a toothbrush and comb. Otherwise it's a good value hotel and worth the price I booked.

Good: Its near LRT. easy access for families with elderly parents and kids to walk from the LRT.
Bad: 1) Not much of food choices inside the hotel + nearby. 2)Taxi drivers: should inform us they do NOT know the place we were heading FIRST to avoid extreme charges due to lost of direction. We were charged RM30 per taxi from Hotel Armada to Petaling Jaya Section 17, Jln 17/4. and we took 2 different taxis from the main road at PJ Section 17 back to Hotel Armada, we were charged only RM5.50 each cab.RM30 is too much, although it was a metered taxi. The fact drivers NOT SURE of the road,should inform US in advance!
